Service Agreement

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms and conditions under which Functional Interiors (“Designer,” “we,” “us”) provides online interior design services to the client (“Client,” “you”).

By booking a service, submitting payment, or proceeding with the project, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Service Agreement.

Functional Interiors provides online interior design services as described on our website and in the selected package, which may include:

• Designer on Call (1-hour consultation)
• Full Room Design - Essential
• Full Room Design - Premium

Each service includes a clearly defined scope, deliverables, and number of revisions. Any work requested outside the agreed scope may require an additional fee and written approval.

All services are provided remotely. Communication may take place via video call, email, or other agreed digital platforms. Design decisions are based on the information provided by the Client and professional judgment by the Designer.

To ensure a smooth process, the Client agrees to:

• Provide accurate measurements, photographs, and relevant information
• Respond to requests for feedback within 5 business days of delivery (extendable if requested in writing)
• Review and approve deliverables within the revision window specified

The Designer is not responsible for errors or delays caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or late information.

Each package includes a limited number of revision rounds, as stated on the website or service description.

• Revisions must be requested within the specified timeframe after delivery (usually within 5 business days).
• Revisions are intended for refinements, not complete redesigns.
• Additional revisions may be offered at an extra cost.

• All prices are listed in euros (€).
• Designer on Call sessions must be paid in full in advance.
• Full room design services may require full or partial payment before work begins.
• Work will not commence until payment is received.

Prices may vary depending on room size, function, and complexity. You will always receive a personalized quote before committing, with no obligation.

Estimated timelines are provided for guidance only and may vary depending on:

• Project complexity
• Client response times
• Revision requests

Delays caused by missing information or late feedback may extend delivery timelines.

Product and material recommendations are provided as guidance only.

The Designer is not responsible for:

• Changes in availability or pricing
• Supplier delays or defects
• Installation, ordering, or execution by third parties

Clients are encouraged to verify dimensions, finishes, and compatibility before purchase.

Functional Interiors does not provide architectural, structural, engineering, electrical, or construction services.

The Client is responsible for:

• Verifying compliance with local building codes and regulations
• Consulting qualified professionals when required

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Functional Interiors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the design services or deliverables. The Designer’s total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

All design materials (mood boards, layouts, 3D models, renders, drawings) remain the intellectual property of Functional Interiors until full payment is received. Once paid, the Client receives a non-transferable license for personal use of the designs.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Functional Interiors retains the right to use the design work produced as part of the service (including mood boards, layouts, 3D models, and renders) for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes.

This use is strictly limited to:

• Final or in-progress design materials
• Anonymized project descriptions (e.g. “family with a dog”, “holiday apartment”, “small urban kitchen”)

No personal data, identifying details, client names, exact addresses, or recognizable views (such as exterior façades or window views) will be shared. Photographs of the existing space (“before” images) will never be published without the client’s explicit written consent.

Clients may request, in writing and prior to project completion, that their project not be used for promotional purposes.

Interior design is a collaborative and subjective process. Functional Interiors designs each space based on the Client’s needs, preferences, and the information provided. While every effort is made to deliver thoughtful and functional design solutions, specific aesthetic outcomes, personal satisfaction, or results following implementation cannot be guaranteed, as final outcomes depend on multiple factors outside the Designer’s control.

• Designer on Call sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
• Refunds are not provided once work has begun.
• If unexpected circumstances arise, please reach out, we aim to handle situations fairly and reasonably.

Functional Interiors reserves the right to terminate this Agreement if the Client breaches these terms, engages in inappropriate or abusive communication, or repeatedly fails to respond within a reasonable timeframe, making completion of the service impractical. In such cases, fees paid for work already completed are non-refundable.

Functional Interiors shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, technical failures, natural events, or other unforeseen situations. In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to resume the service as soon as possible.

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain.
